SJP Video 9: Transform your Image into a Beautiful B & W

Today’s lesson is on transforming your image into a beautiful Black and White.

How to start developing your image in Lightroom or ACR – 1:47

Tips while photographing B&W:

  • Pay attention to your composition – make it simple if you’re unsure.
  • Contrasting colors make beautiful full Zoned images.
  • Shoot in color & RAW
  • If needed, view only, on camera – monochrome.
  • Enjoy the experience in post; if frustrated take a break.
