Merry Christmas

Hello all,

Normally I don’t photograph people but when I do I enjoy working with children and animals. Look at her eyes…she can’t wait for Santa to arrive! This is a wonderful time to spend with family and friends. I hope all of you have the best holiday ever!

God Bless,

Dresses up and happy about meeting Santa.

I agree with you. I could see the difference between photos taken by a professional and those taken by an amateur. I sure have still many miles away, but I am learning everyday.

Thanks for the tip on how to take sharp shots. I have practiced at home and I think I am learning.

    Hello Janice,

I sincerely love this photo. The difference between a professional and amateur photographer is obvious. Your photo is much sharper than mine. What’s the secret?

    • Hello Nannette,

Thank you for the nice comment. The difference is commitment to the craft. Shoot, shoot, and shoot more, lol! Read books and take some courses. Network with other photographers, which is fun. It takes a lot of knowledge to produce a professional photograph. Myself and many others enjoy all of it…or we wouldn’t put so much time into the world of photography. You asked about a sharp photograph…focus on what you want to be sharp and go from there.

Merry Christmas and hope you have a wonderful 2009!

      Take care,
